If you’re an aged care provider looking for a massage therapist to work with your clients and residents then Recharge Body Work can help.
We understand your processes when engaging a professional service and can provide all the documentation you need to engage our services.
How it works
During the initial session, I will gather the client’s health history and discuss with the client and/or their carer about how the massage can be tailored to their needs. This allows me to identify indications and contraindications for massage and to help us customise an appropriate massage treatment plan.
Then we’ll move on to assess the client’s mobility and physical status to determine if the massage is best performed on a massage table, chair or with the client seated in the wheelchair.
Massage for the elderly and those with disability is generally done with gentle pressure and slow movements. Throughout the session, I will check on the pressure level to ensure it’s comfortable for them.
My clients enjoy the warm caring touch and all the benefits that massage therapy offers and they always look forward to their next session!
